Away From Everywhere

Owen and Alex lose their mother to a random act of brutal violence as children, and struggle to process the impact of her absence as adults, as well as the slow mental decline of their father. Each brother chooses a different path; Owen, a solitary writer who finds relief in the internal world, and Alex, a successful doctor, and husband, who occupies himself with work and material things. When Owen reunites with his estranged brother after a stint in rehab, the visit descends into a tragic love triangle and both brothers must decide what is standing in the way of their forgiveness, and redemption.
