While we settle in for another lockdown, it's a great time to haul out the typewriter and let your imagination fly! The Nickel's Script Writing Challenge is a free creative challenge to anyone to write a short screenplay or script between March 1st to March 12th. It’s not a contest, it's free to participate, and registration is open until the challenge closes.

Submitted scripts should be 5 pages or under — the rule of thumb is one minute per page of script — and can be of any genre. Just for fun, all writers will be given a simple prompt they should integrate into their script.
