Taking part in the Nickel's Short Animation Challenge and need a bit of inspiration? We are excited to present our totally free Animation School in a Day! We are offering three different presentations from three animators with distinctly unique styles to help you build your own world through animation! Whatever your experience is, these workshops will be a perfect kicking off point to get your creative juices flowing!

PRESENTERS:
1pm: Angie Sutherland is an animator working in St. John’s who specializes in pixel art. If you've ever wanted to make your own 8-bit video game world, this will be the workshop to see!

2pm: Curtis Rioux is the founder and CEO of Stellar Boar, an animation studio based out of St. John’s. He'll show you how to structure your ideas into a polished final piece.

3pm: Lulu Keating is a filmmaker and animator living in Dawson City, Yukon. Her collage style of stop motion animation is the perfect vehicle for whimsical personal storytelling.
