The Nickel's Short Animation Challenge is a free creative challenge to anyone to create a short animated film of five minutes or less any time between January 1 and 31. Any style of animation is welcome, including traditional animation, computer animation, and stop motion. Films with a mix of live and animated action are welcome, and the films can be as narrative or abstract as you like. This is not a contest, it's free to participate, and registration is open until the challenge closes on January 31.
