- Historical tale — a local event with archival footage and interviews.
- Mockumentary — humorous (Spinal Tap) or eerie (Blair Witch).
- Nature & environment — landscapes, wildlife, interviews with experts.
- Cultural practice — a local custom or event; setup, activities, reactions.
- Day in the life — someone’s routines, meals, downtime.
- Local issue — interviews, footage, community responses.
- Community cornerstone — inside a local institution or business.
- Personal journey — elements of your own life and reflection.
Invent your own angle if none of these fit.
